No Go for Amber Allure - Not Giving Up!

Well, the winners were announced on Saturday, and I wasn't one of the lucky seven to be selected. I am a little disappointed, (okay, a lot disappointed, LOL!) but I am not going to give up. I am currently reworking my MS to add some more meaningful content to it and boost the word count. I am now looking at various other epublishers' submission guidelines and tackling the dreaded synopsis that all will want. Wish me luck!

Patiently Waiting - No Finger Nails Left!

Okay, this is my first post on my new blog. I have been waiting for five weeks to hear from Amber Quill regarding my submission to this year's contest, but haven't heard anything at this point. Since the winners are supposed to be announced this Saturday, March 1, I am beginning to doubt that my story will be selected, but I am not trying to give up hope just yet.

An author that I greatly respect beta read the story and loved it, so I guess I secretly hoped so would the Amber Quill editors. Will keep my fingers crossed that my story will make the final cut!
